About the Owner
My name is Kerstin Luisi
Once upon a time, there was a woman who loved books—so much so that her home was overflowing with them. Stacks on shelves, piles on tables, books tucked into every corner. She searched for a way to house more, but alas, her husband drew the line at buying a bigger house.
Meanwhile, a beloved local bookstore was searching for a new owner. If no one stepped in, its doors would close forever. That’s when she saw the perfect solution to her book collecting… or, as some might call it, book hoarding.
She reached out to the retiring owner, and together they formed a plan. Before she knew it, her dream of owning a bookstore had turned into reality. Now, six days a week, she shares her love of reading with the community—occasionally sneaking in a few books from home to make space for new ones.
Some days, it feels like a whirlwind decision. But in truth, this was always meant to be. Life has a funny way of turning the pages just right, leading her to the perfect next chapter.
